DIARY of Open Meetings &
Lectures
This type of
event is not normally bookable in advance, and unless a contact
numbers is shown with the listing, indicating that there may be
limited space etc, in which case you are asked to phone in advance,
you are welcome to turn up and pay at the door.
This page reflects the contents of both our Bulletins( North &
South) - we hope to continue to build this website to expand the
local events listings from all over the country. Please note there
is a separate page, by subject, for Classes and Ongoing Groups,
where the subject continues from one week to the next - many of
those operate also on a drop-in basis. In addition to holistic
events, watch this space for green and political events, often
advertised at short notice.

The Face of the Divine Susan Bayliss - Just where is God?
And where and what is the face of the Divine? This talk aims
to help us consider our perceptions of the world and our life
within it. Some of the latest scientific research has the potential
to change our view ofour place in the cosmos, and the body
we inhabit. We will consider what relevance these concepts may
have for us in our daily lives. Susan Bayliss is a former President
of Leeds theosophical branch. Foundation

Exploring Dreams and Dreaming - Edward Archer and Janet Lee
- The dream is a little hidden door into the innermost and most
secret recesses of the soul, opening into the cosmic night of
psyche. (C G Jung). But this workshop is not just about Jung!
The leaders will use various experiential approaches and a wide
esoteric framework to explore the symbolism and meaning of dreams
and their relevance to each of us. Please bring a dream or two
and perhaps drawing or colouring materials. Edward Archer has
given talks on dreams and past lives and lucid dreams, and has
kept a dream diary for many years; Janet Lee practices as a
psychotherapist, working with healing and active imagination.

Nov 20th 6-7.30pm £6/£4 - Archetypal
Journey through the Tarot - Jennie Dix - The Tarot represents
the journey through life that we all take. Understanding our
different aspects and seeing reflections of ourselves through
the symbolism of the Tarot gives us images through which we
can identify who we are and observe the various false images
we hold. Aspects of the Gurdjieff teachings clarify where we
are asleep, and point at ways to wake up. Jennie Dix is President
of Bristol theosophical branch. Foundation
