Tao is the Truth or the Way as shown in nature. It is shown in natural phenomena like the moon orbiting the Earth, the Earth orbiting the sun, and the Earth rotating on its axis. Such phenomena create the cycles of the tides, the seasons, days and nights. I-Kuan Tao ("The pervasive Truth") embodies the truth of Tao and recognises the teachings of all world religions. In Chinese "I" means oneness while "Kuan" means unification.

I-Kuan Tao UK is a charitable organization dedicated to spreading the Tao with the goal of creating a peaceful society and a harmonious world. The IKT UK Temple is a place where we can learn, cultivate, and deliver teachings of the Tao. By seeking the commonality of all faith, bringing everyone, regardless of religion or race, closer to the spiritual essence. It is truly the ideal of harmonious connections - the Tao that unifies all with the ONE. We look forward to see you.

Q. What is Tao blessing? A. It is a ceremony to affirm that you seek the Tao of your own sincere free will. You also affirm your intention to be respectful of the teachings of the Tao. You will then receive the Tao Treasures**. These are powerful tools to help you with your own spiritual cultivation. The ordained Master performs the ritual of transmission of these Treasures, after that either the Master or a lecturer will explain their meaning to help you practice. You can then start using them immediately in your daily life. ** Please note that the details of the Tao Treasures are only disclosed to those who have participated in the Tao blessing ceremony.

Q. Will my religion change after receiving Tao Blessings? A. No, We welcome everyone. Whatever your religion, it will remain unchanged. You only go through the Tao blessing ceremony once in your life time. IKT UK is a registered charity organization in the UK. Charity registration number: 1079991.

Q. Will I be asked to donate money to the IKT temple? A. No, any donation is voluntary Q. Contribution to participate in Tao blessings A. A token cash contribution applies per person if you want to participate in the Tao blessing ceremony. This is a "once in a lifetime" contribution for printing / publications of books / articles for distribution. The merits will be in your name. This money is NOT for the temple use.

Q. How does receiving this Tao blessing BENEFIT ME? A. It is great for your mind, body and soul. Mind – You will learn how to protect yourself from negative energies, be more focus and to improve your concentration whether for your studies, career, meditation or daily things in your life. In a serene state of focused calmness, we naturally connect. Body – You will learn how to protect yourself from danger, calamities, disasters that might harm you physically. Whenever you feel you need extra assistance from a source outside of yourself, a wellspring of strength will emerge for you. Soul – With Tao cultivation, you will be freed from the sufferings of birth and rebirth. You can change your fate.

Q. What happens during the Tao Ceremony? A. You will be guided throughout the simple 15-20 minutes ceremony. However, you will have to kneel down to receive the Tao treasures.

Q. What happens after the Tao ceremony? A. You will be given a short explanation on how to use the Tao treasures to benefit your mind, body and soul from the blessings. If you are interested to study in depth, you can come back to attend classes in the future.

Q. Dress code for the Tao blessing ceremony? A: Men: Shirt and long trousers/jeans, no shorts; Ladies: No shorts or minis, low cut blouse, preferably wear a top with collar and sleeves. Or you can wear your traditional costumes.
