The purpose of the Uniting Hearts Festival 2003 is to create an atmosphere embodying the spirit of love and unity. The festival is a celebration of cultural diversity, life, fun, laughter, and the inherent goodness in people to show love, compassion, forgiveness and kindness. The intention is to create a non-judgemental environment with a positive effect and a new awareness that we all can act together and achieve and create a better world for ourselves and for our children.

It is with great pleasure that the NMS announce the first Anniversary of the Uniting Hearts Festival, and it is with this happiness that free refreshments will available to all. The festival as before will be free of charge and open to all members of the family to enjoy a whole host of captivating performances, from Sufi musicians and story telling to the awe-inspiring ecstatic dance of the Whirling Dervishes. Surely a festival not to be missed. We hope this year's festival will add to the success of the first and with it enlighten your heart with light - that is Uniting Hearts.
